Video Mondays: Vacuity – Sci-Fi Short Film Drama

I grew up during what was prematurely called the Space Age and dreamed of being an astronaut, watching the launches of the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo missions in glorious black and white TV. Life pulled me in other directions but the fantasy persisted in my appreciation of good Sci-Fi stories. Beyond a healthy dose of escapism, I eventually came to understand that a good story is a good story and good Sci-Fi just provides an extraordinary backdrop and possible catalyst. Today’s video lives up to that description, a great snapshot of what it means to be human. Enjoy.
